CERN Accelerating science

Benjamin joined CERN’s KT Group in 2018. He leads the business development section, which fosters partnerships for innovation with industry and academia. The section focuses on deep tech developments in healthcare, environment, quantum, aerospace and digital technologies.
 
He is a deep tech enthusiast with twenty years of experience contributing to cutting-edge technological developments. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Vienna, awarded for his work on positron emission tomography at CERN. Benjamin has also conducted research in medical robotics and interventional imaging and provided regulatory and clinical affairs consultancy for medical device manufacturers.
